CO₂ laser energy removes microscopic areas of skin tissue while leaving surrounding areas untreated. This fractional pattern supports healing and stimulates a renewal response. The treatment is more intensive than a surface skincare treatment.

Who is Solaria CO₂ best suited for?
At Therapeutic Elements, Solaria CO₂ is best suited for Fitzpatrick skin types I–III. Your provider evaluates skin tone, pigmentation risk, medical history, and goals. Assessment matters because unwanted pigment changes and other complications can occur.

What happens during treatment?
Your provider selects the resurfacing settings and treatment area and explains preparation, comfort measures, and recovery. Fractional laser energy creates microscopic treatment zones; the intensity is chosen for the concern and your skin.

How is CO₂ different from microneedling?
Dermapen 4 creates controlled microchannels mechanically. Morpheus8 combines microneedling with RF energy. Solaria uses ablative laser energy to resurface microscopic areas of skin. The more intensive approach is not automatically the right choice for every patient.

Can CO₂ laser resurfacing remove acne scars completely?
