1 to 2 Weeks Before Treatment

Prepare your skin with ALASTIN Regenerating Skin Nectar, which is available for purchase at Therapeutic Elements. We recommend using it twice daily, morning and evening, beginning approximately 2 weeks before your treatment, unless otherwise directed by your provider. It is formulated with TriHex Technology® to help prepare the skin before cosmetic procedures and support the skin's natural remodeling process.

• Gently cleanse your skin.
• Apply 1 to 2 pumps of ALASTIN Regenerating Skin Nectar.
• Follow with moisturizer as needed.
• Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning.

Avoid tanning beds and intentional sun exposure, and do not arrive with a sunburn or recently tanned skin. Avoid harsh exfoliation or aggressive skincare treatments immediately before treatment, and stop any retinols, vitamin C serums, chemical peels, or other products that can increase your skin's sensitivity. Inform us of any changes in medications, health conditions, or skin concerns before your appointment.

After Your QuantumRF Treatment

It is normal to experience some temporary redness, warmth or tenderness, swelling, mild bruising, and tightness or sensitivity. These effects vary depending on the treatment area and individual response. Your skin may feel like a mild sunburn, or may feel tight and tender for a short period following treatment.

Continue ALASTIN Regenerating Skin Nectar as directed by your provider following your procedure. Nectar is specifically formulated to complement cosmetic procedures and is designed to support the skin's natural healing and remodeling process.

• Gentle cleansing, using CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser or DP Dermaceuticals Tri-Phase Cleanser

• Gentle moisturizer, if needed
• Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher during the day

If your skin is particularly sensitive following treatment, follow the customized skincare instructions provided by Therapeutic Elements.

The First 24 to 48 Hours

• Keep the treated area clean.
• Use gentle skincare products.
• Stay well hydrated.
• Allow your skin and tissues time to recover.
• Sleep with the treated area protected from excessive pressure when appropriate.
• Use sunscreen and avoid direct sun exposure.

Avoid excessive heat, hot tubs and saunas, intense exercise if it increases swelling or discomfort, direct sun exposure, tanning beds, aggressive massage of the treated area unless specifically instructed, and scrubs, exfoliants, or irritating skincare products.

Sun Protection Is Essential

Protecting your skin from UV exposure is an important part of maintaining your results. Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning and reapply when spending extended time outdoors. Avoid intentional tanning while your skin is recovering.

When Can I Return to My Normal Skincare?

Your provider will let you know when to resume active skincare products such as retinoids and retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, other exfoliating acids, strong vitamin C products, and at-home exfoliation.

The goal is to allow your skin barrier to fully recover before reintroducing potentially irritating products.

Long-Term Skin Maintenance

Once your skin has healed and you have completed the post-treatment recovery period, we recommend transitioning from procedure-focused care to a daily maintenance routine. ALASTIN Restorative Skin Complex is an excellent daily maintenance option following the recovery period.

It is designed for ongoing skincare and to support the appearance of healthier, firmer, more youthful-looking skin. ALASTIN specifically distinguishes Restorative Skin Complex as the daily maintenance product, while Regenerating Skin Nectar is designed for pre- and post-procedure care.
